Help for Members Impacted by Floods in MissouriApril 17, 2019
We’re taking steps to help our members and emergency personnel impacted by floods in Missouri.
If you live in Andrew, Atchison, Boone, Buchanan, Callaway, Cape Girardeau, Carroll, Chariton, Clay, Cole, Cooper, Franklin, Gasconade, Holt, Howard, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Lincoln, Marion, Mississippi, Moniteau, Montgomery, New Madrid, Osage, Pemiscot, Perry, Pike, Platte, Rawls, Ray, Saline, St. Charles, St. Genevieve, St. Louis, Scott, and Warren Counties, and St. Louis City, here’s what you should know:
- Your policy won’t be canceled due to nonpayment of premium from March 19, 2019 through April 19, 2019
- You will not be penalized for any late payments during this period
Relaxed guidelines are in effect from March 19 through April 19, 2019 for impacted members in Missouri. They apply to members with Anthem group or individual and family health plans. They do not apply to Federal Employee Health Benefit Plan members, Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Part D, Medicare Advantage, Specialty and any fully insured trust funds - these programs have their own specific guidelines.
